New Me

Yes that is me... a butterfly emerging from it's cocoon......... spreading it's wings .. ready for the great adventures that lie ahead.

To celebrate this "transformation" this freedom from my cocoon...... i have changed the name of the blog again......... geeeez...... originally it was "The Journey" - no going back to that.........

then it was "The Healing Journey" - and i am moving on from that............

and now it is "The Adventurous Journey"

The words of a song by Helen Reddy keep rolling through my mind:

"And I know too much to go back and pretend.
'cause I heard it all before
And I have been down there on the floor
No one's ever gonna keep me down again............

Yes I am wise -
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes I've paid the price
But look how much I've gained
If I have to
I can do anything !!!"

So I am off on a new journey.........
Wanna come along ??
You are most welcome to join me on this leg of the journey...........

  1. What greater adventure can there be than living the life you've imagined? And you truly are doing it with courage, joy, and positive motion forward.

Your strength in moving on to celebrate who you are and express it with creativity and positive energy is going to pay off for you in happiness, fulfillment, and a frequently blistered bottom:)

    All the best,

    Tom

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined.

  5. I would offer to be your Sherpa, but I haven't any clue where I'm going. All I know is that I'm on the wrong side of the hill and gravity isn't my friend.

In other news...my doctor says I've got to loose 10 lbs....I'm a little heavy for my height. (5'10" and 165? bullshit!) Anyhow...I've decided to get taller instead.

Good luck on your adventure...leave bread crumbs ;-)

  8. Ohoh...clearly, you don't understand the function of a Sherpa...as yours, I'd lead and you'd follow (it's not only traditional, it's the natural order) ;-)

The problem would, as I mentioned, be a matter of where I was going. I would just as likely lead you back down the trail you've already blazed. (I'm not good with directions, except when giving them):-)

We need to dicker over a salary, of course, but I am looking for something part-time to fill up my dance card :-)
