  2. I am glad to hear that you call Z Zed and not Zee. I try to do my best to be open-minded and egalitarian, when it comes to the various forms of the English language, but it makes my teeth grind, when I hear Americans ending the alphabet with a Zee.

    1. yeah it sounds funny to say/hear zee .... and the spelling !!! I am still adding words to the 'dictionary' on my pc.....

  3. Well, Morningstar, I have to say that I had no idea that Canadians and Americans were so different. It's like the differences between talking to Lindy from Australia and Roz from NZ. Every so often they throw a word at me that I have no idea what they are saying! I love that English is so diverse.

    1. nodding very true Baker - I remember my first trip to Britain... at times I needed a translator - eg.. wanted a sweater (cause it was cold) and they showed me everything BUT a sweater... turns out I should have been asking for a 'jumper' le sigh

  4. LoL Morningstar, I love it! Oh yes on zed not zee and colour lol. It amazes me too how we mag all speak English yet at times still don't understand each other lol
