It's a matter of perspective Roz, in the summer 15 degrees IS cold in Ontario. Lol.
What makes us Canucks hardy is not the cold ( most of us hate it too) but the extremes. -40C in January to 40C in July. Lol.
I will be having a drink in the sun ( out if the wind later today as it's 'going up to' -10c here ( for like 40 minutes in the sun before it plummets again lol!)
LOL I love wandering in to my blog to join the conversation.....
willie - know what I have noticed ? the older I get the more the cold bothers me - I've never been a fan (even when I was skiing) BUT now it's worse....... the doctor says it's cause I've lost so much weight (insulation) - I just wish I could become a 'snow bird'...... I'm not happy unless it's plus 25
I can't handle the cold. Never could, I'm not a big person either, but since starting a BP medication last summer my hands really can't handle it- even in Hot Paws and with those little heater bags in my mitts. The top half I'm my fingers turn white and numb. When I start to warm they turn dark purple and burn....good times ! Doesn't bode well for an owner of a beagle under a year old! Lol
yup that's in centigrade...... now do you understand why I am b*tching?? besides the fact we've been rather spoiled the last couple of winters with reasonably mild temps and not much snow........
LoL Morningstar, love the flip flops and OMG, I think 15 degrees is cold, let alone -15!
