The End of the Road.

This is Sir Steve.

It is with a heavy heart that I need to let you all know that on Friday, July 22/22, at about 7:20am, Morningstar, AKA, Sheila, Passed away after her short battle with lung cancer.

I know that alot of you have followed her and became friends with her over the years. She enjoyed sharing her life with all of you.

So, I guess this will be the final post on her blog.

Thank you all for being there for her through this time.

She will be missed by all of us.

Steve

  1. Thank you for making this post, Sir Steve. You must be feeling the loss heavily right now. I hope that you. Lil One, morningstar's children and grand children have wonderful memories to share of morningstar, both to help you all through the process of grieving and to remember her in the future. This feels strange to say of someone whom I have never met face to face, but morningstar's passing has left a hole in my world.

  17. It takes a special person to think of all of us while you are suffering. Thank you for taking the time to allow us in as Morningstar so often did.

It's difficult to believe she will no longer be around us any longer-

You and your daughter are in our thoughts. May the memories you have created help you through this difficult time.

  20. I have lost morningstar now twice in my life, but this time it truly hurts so MUCH MORE than the first time. I am both happy and sad, happy she didn't suffer the pain through the treatments she was heading for and sad we won't be reading her blog/Sunday Sentiments forever more....

she was a WONDERFUL person that anyone that met/knew her the pleasure of knowing, she IS going to be missed terribly !!!

Until we meet again, enjoy your new journey ( which I know you have already started )....

Dear Steve, Morningstar made you and your daughter vibrant people in the story of her life. And it was a story she told beautifully. She was a great and often courageous writer with a uniquely honest voice. Like most people writing here I never met her and she would have had no idea who I was, but I felt I knew her (at least in some ways) and will miss her. It’s hard to think this is the end of the journey.
