Hubby's driving in that nonsense this morning. I, on the other hand, have no snow left. Rain and mild temperatures have poofed it all away. In New Brunswick, of all places! Downside is that I have an acre of lake instead of gardens. The ducks are loving it. Chickens, not so much.
I'm out of the mood for snow so I can just imagine how much you are. We have the same starts and stops of spring that you do - but ours are much less dramatic.
Fortunately any snow that has fallen has been melting here. The other day I saw a pick up truck with a snowblower and a patio set in the back. I couldn't help but laugh at how both could be used in the same day. Lol
me too Windy - they have been a bit disgruntled since they got back
We have one that is nesting outside our local Walmart - last night someone posted a video of it entering Walmart and doing a walk about.... LOL I said it was looking for a warm place to sleep and some food.
Life in the Northern Hemisphere is so interesting. I feel sorry for those living nearer the equator :) . On a side note, do Canadian Geese migrate in Canada? We have plenty living wild around here (not native, but historical introductions) but they just tend to stay where they are, year round.
Most of ours do migrate Prefectdt... we watch them leave in Sept/Oct in huge noisy flocks and they return in April/May..... not my favourite bird to be honest - they are dirty (ever tried to walk through a park where they hang out??) and not the most even tempered bird.....

DeleteThanks for the intel. It sounds like they act differently here and are a lot better mannered than the European Geese, who hiss at you a lot.

Those memes are so true.
ReplyDeleteWe hear gunshots every morning as we are quite near an airport. They fire guns off to scare the geese off the runway (not to kill them).
Hugs,
