Sunday Sentiments

 

My mom used to say that to me all the time - "don't put yourself on their level - walk away" 

My grandmother on the other hand often said "the best revenge is to live well " I think I always liked that one best

I did try to follow both bits of advice - but had a whole lot more success with my grandmother's........... the mean spirited side of me wanted to "get even" and "living well" seemed the lady like way of doing it
