Ours!

I'm so very lucky!!  Sir Steve worked all week - on his holidays - to get the redecorating finished.  

One of the things that helped get it done so fast - was our local Hardware Store is going out of business - so we checked out their paints.  They had one that had primer already in it and was guaranteed to cover in just one coat.  Sir Steve didn't entirely believe the hype -- but getting expensive paint for less than what he would have paid for the regular stuff was worth the try.  AND -- it worked !!  Only the lil one's room needed some touch ups.. her room was a ghastly pink and green.

In a week he painted 3 bedrooms!!  and they look wonderful.  I have ordered a BIG surprise for the lil one's bedroom - a canopy to go over her bed....... 

a secret hide away - a cozy corner  - an 'anything she wants it to be'   It's supposed to be here by Saturday (yeah Amazon!!) which means we can have it installed and ready for her when she gets home from her Mother's on Monday.

As Sir Steve washed up his painting supplies he turned to me and said 'now the house is truly OURS' ....... it made my heart beat a little faster ...... he truly gets the important things ya know???

Life is good when the renos are done and the house is OURS!

 

Starting fresh........

New Year = cleaning and organizing and sorting -- for some reason I have always been hit by the cleaning bug come Jan 1st...... it may have a lot to do with finding space for the Christmas gifts.... and the decorations coming down and the fact that not a whole lot of cleaning goes on in the month of December.

Whatever the reason - we have been busy this week ....... Sir Steve is finishing up the redecorating we started in the late spring....... the bedrooms and TV room are being done.  I have been sorting through papers and filing them...... sorting out each room as we strip it down for painting --  and believe it or not -- shopping !!  We needed a new duvet cover (ok ok maybe not "needed" but "wanted" one to go with the new colour scheme for the master bedroom) 

I've ordered some new floating shelves to hold my geisha (Sir Steve bought me a new one for Christmas and wants me to have my own oriental display) 

The cleaning and tidying applies to The Continued Journey as well -- holiday theme gone and the every day theme in place again.......... 

It does feel good to have things returning to normal........ 

 
AND on the theme of returning to normal... do you know what Sir Steve has been doing this week??? Oh dear GOD!!
I have some bruising from the spanking the other night..... every time (well it feels like every time!) he walks past me he has been poking the bruises.... which makes me jump and grab my ass... and finally made me whine!  He is SO mean!!  never let it be said that Sir Steve isn't caring -- he stopped poking my bruises and replaced it with slapping them -- HARD -- such a sweet man dontcha think??  

The house is returning to normal -- the blog is returning to normal -- and my Sadist is back !!  which is the best normal I can think of!!!

Life is good when it's post holiday fun and normal returns.

He's Backkkkkkkkkk

7:45 last night He looked at me and said
"In 15 minutes I want you in the bedroom - naked - bent over the end of the bed"

Do you have any idea what happens in my head while I am watching the clock click down??!!  It has been soooooo long -- I could barely wrap my head around the thought of naked bent over the bed........... 

In 15 minutes I was naked bent over the end of the bed -- my heart pounding -- feeling so exposed -- shy and anxious and needy.

He didn't keep me waiting -- and my ass was soon red and hot and I was swearing and cursing him and loving every single spank....... every single minute!!

(whispering) then I heard the zipper on his jeans ....... and he forced my legs apart and thrust into me hard and fast......... and oh dear god my heart nearly stopped.......... it hurt soooooo good !!

Later hugging him and kissing him... and holding him tight I whispered "my man is back" and he laughed and said "hell yeah!"

Life is good when the man comes back......... 

 

 

Sunday Sentiments

I don't very often talk about the other step child in my life....... Lady is a 7 year old black lab rescue.  

She and I have an interesting relationship - much like I have with the lil one........ except Lady will roll her eyes at me -- mumble and grumble and occasionally pout.  

She loves ... and I mean LOVES.... to visit my eldest daughter because she has 3 rescues....... and the littlest one "Willow" is Lady's best bud!!

The 2 days with a house full of dogs is probably the main reason the following is this Sunday's Sentiment...........
