Back to My Roots

About 15 years ago when I was first introduced to bondage I came across some bondage pictures painted on silk by a Japanese artist by the name of Ozuma Kaname.

Then a couple of weeks ago I stumbled across one of his pictures on Fetlife.  There is a chap there who is trying to collect, in one place, copies of some of the works of ancient/older Japanese artists. I browsed through his pictures and found Ozuma Kaname.

I remembered how aroused I was by the pictures I found some 15 years ago.  And downloaded and have saved some of the ones I didn't find first time around.

I just thought I would share some of my favourite ones - the more 'sensual' ones .......

Oriental Zen

Back when we were "visiting" Japan and China at school - I went looking for an oriental grocery store to buy 'real' chinese dumplings for our celebration.....  There was one just down the street from me believe it or not.  I had driven past it for years and never really noticed it.  It is a small lil shop tucked into a large sprawling metropolis - easy to miss (that's my story and I am sticking to it !!)  And I found the BEST dumplings ever - and so easy to make..........

Well around Easter... W was telling me about going out for dim sum with an oriental friend.  They had gone to a 'real' oriental restaurant - and W raved about the hot mustard.  (W loves hot food / hot spices / hot everything!!!  which is why he's with me of course - cheeky grin)

So I ventured back into the oriental grocery shop one day to see if I could find this hot mustard.  I had a wonderful sales clerk help me find the mustard........ and she added a hot chili sauce  - promising me that if W didn't find it hot enough for his tastes - there was one other he could try.  The same day I bought some of those delicious dumplings I had bought for the kiddies and some sweet chili sauce (I do not like hot sauces - even more so since being sick last year)

The dumplings are so easy to make that they became a bit of a diet staple around here - especially on nights when I was too tired to cook.  The sweet chili sauce was like ambrosia - my god it was delicious !!!

Last night I didn't know what to cook for dinner.  I didn't feel like cooking.  I was feeling just a little battered and bruised from "stuff" ........... so around 7:00 I decided to whip up a batch of dumplings and sweet chili sauce.  While they were cooking I decided to break out the oriental dishes and chop sticks... to pay a little attention to the visual appeal of my meal instead of just wolfing them down and getting the meal over with.

The picture's a bit dark - black plate on dark table - but hopefully you get the idea...
Eating with chopsticks takes time - and makes me sit back and enjoy the meal a little bit more... makes me breath while I am eating..... creates an almost Zen moment.  I took pride in the placement of the dumplings around the dipping cup..... creating (in my mind's eye) a flower........

And I thought to myself when I had finished - no more wolfing down meals just to get them over with........... I must start paying a little more attention to detail....... find my Zen ... relax into it.... refocus from the busy noisy life outside the 4 walls I call home...

Take time to appreciate...............to be Zen....... at one with the quiet stillness around me.

To pooped to pop

Yesterday W and I did a cross border run for some shopping. I have been trying to dress up these days - rather than slopping around.  So I wore my new white trousers, with a red and white striped top and red high heeled sandals that showed my red painted toe nails.  Never again - for the high heeled sandals that is....... my feet were killing me - are still killing me today!!!  Who dreamed up high heeled shoes ?? Must have been some damn sadist!!

I have been wanting to change the theme of the master bedroom for a year or so.  The idea started off slow and started to build.... until... for the last month I have even been dreaming (literally) about what to do with the bedroom.

I knew I wanted an oriental theme..... I also knew I had very little money.  So I decided to buy new curtains, buy a new quilt, and paint.

BUT what to start with ?

Select a colour and paint and then try to fit everything else around it...... or buy the quilt and choose curtains and paint to match it..... or buy the curtains....... the possibilities seemed endless.

So one of the things on my shopping agenda was to see if I could find a quilt that would sorta/kinda look oriental themed........ and be cheap!!!  We went from Kmart to Bed Bath and Beyond to Walmart ........... and believe it or not I actually found a red and beige and gold quilt that I have convinced myself is most definitely oriental themed..... I found curtains that matched - two panels of red and two panels of beige.  Then we did groceries...... and finally headed home.

My feet were killing me - so much for looking good in red high heels........ shopping should be done in running shoes !!!

When I got home did I sit down and relax???  Nooooooooo why would I do that?? I had to see how the quilt and curtains looked - so I stripped the bedroom down and added the new bed linens and curtains.  Stood back and admired it all... dramatic was the word that came to mind.

This morning I set to taking down the antique accessories and add some oriental accessories that were spread around the house... moved the antique cedar chest out of the bedroom (still full of clothes of course - cause it would take too much time to empty it and refill it - and I want things done YESTERDAY!!)

Then I headed off to pick up groceries that I needed - and couldn't get in the States.  Then off to the hardware to look at paint colours - cause the redecorating isn't nearly done...... I HAVE to take everything off the walls - plug up the holes and get painting.... once I find just the right colour.

I am home now.......... groceries away - paint chips in the bedroom....... and my ass on the sofa.  My feet are killing me......... my body aches (probably from moving furniture) .... and I have a small headache - but the bedroom project is definitely underway- and I promise NOT to try and do it in two days.......... (like past painting/renovation projects)

Fetish - fantasy - or???

Going to a play party tends to stress me a little bit.. what to wear..what to wear !!! and the stupid thing is..., we don't DO stand and model - so really what does it matter what i wear.. it is only gonna come off pretty soon after we arrive !!!

Anyway... for more than a few years now i have dreamed of owning a kimono.... but the cost is truly beyond my means.

A year or so ago when we were up in our Nation's Capital Sir bought me a silky North American translation of a kimono... it is red with gold patterns... but i have been truthfully way too shy to wear it.

And then a couple of weeks ago.. during March break actually .. i purchased myself a kimono (again another cheap North American knock off) that crosses over the front and ties... it is blue and gold and really is very pretty.....

i hung it nicely in my cupboard and wondered when i would ever wear it... cause... well squarish styles don't exactly flatter my squarish body.

Last weekend i shyly tucked the blue kimono into my bag and took it up to Kingston. After our time at the train show.. and dinner.. when we settled back into our hotel room, i hid in the bathroom and slipped into the kimono. Sir didn't bat an eyelash.. as though seeing me prancing around in a kimono was the norm. AND then Sir played with me in the kimono.. draping it nicely over my back or across my pussy .......... and i relaxed and decided i really did feel good wearing it........

NOW we were planning our trip to our Nation's Capital and i needed to find something to wear. i reached into the back of my cupboard and pulled out the red silk oriental dress that Sir bought me. i tried it on... and i have to be truthful .. images danced in my head.. images that had nothing to do with the image in the mirror .. but who the hell cares???

So both oriental outfits were packed in my bag for the trip...............

AND i asked Sir rather shyly if we might pack the chopsticks.. piles of them.. with elastics... and He said yes.. and i had this oriental theme in my head.... oh dear me.. am i turning into a fetish freak?? is that so wrong???

Anyway.. Sir also insisted i pack the pussy stretcher.. AND some other toys.. so the theme will have some hazy edges to it.. and maybe no one else will notice and it will just remain my fantasy...

i'll let you all know how it goes .. come Monday Morning Report.........
