pic line versus iv

I was readmitted to hospital last week with an invasive infection that involved complicated treatments every tday.  It also involved a PIcline being installed

that will stay in place for at least 10 days (if not longer)  this infection is slowing all my treatments down To say I am exhausted and weak is an understatement   Never mind I've had 2 major falls and 1 bloody nose I' m very nearly  down!

    Morningstar,

well, you have been busy haven't you? Pic-line can be good although none of this is "good".

May I make one suggestion? Please stop doing more than one thing at a time. Treatments first, then if you must, infection AFTER treatment, and if you are still bored, then you can fall and have a nose bleed. I don't think doing them all at the same time is necessary.

Hugs and love (and a smidge of sarcasm to be true to me)

I appreciate you coming by to let us know some of what is happening. Although none of this is the news I'd like to hear from you. I think Boo's suggestions are go ones - go with her advice.

  10. I think of you every day too, and am sorry to hear about the infection. Still, a pic line can be your friend if you talk nicely to it.

    Hugs and good thoughts,

  16. I was saddened to hear you are no longer with us. I was looking forward to the day where we'd have a drink outside on our way camping. I'll miss our lively discussions on this life and living here .

All the best to you Steve and your little one. I hope you realize how much joy the 2 of you brought to Morningstar's life and that she shared that with us. May your memories help you through this difficult time.

Please know a part of our community has a huge void now.
